From The Archives (Part Two)

This head-to-toe Zara outfit is entirely last season, but if you've been keeping up with the trends, you'll know that most of them fit into this season as well. It's one of the reasons why I don't always rush out to buy, buy, buy at the beginning of winter. (Also because in Mumbai we don't have a winter! But that's another story. Hehehe)

Checks, as you know, are still very much 'in'. Therefore these trousers are going to be quite the staple in my winter wardrobe.
This waterfall cardigan from SheIn is also something that will be on repeat this season as well. It's very warm - definitely not something for daily wear in Mumbai. However it's perfect for those extra chilly nights, or while travelling.

Plaid is also massive, which means that this plaid shirt that I bought from Only will get a lot of use too. I love that it's long enough to be used as a light jacket, as well as a shirt. The ties on the sleeves add to the uniqueness. Yes, Donald's on the back. It was from their Disney collab.

I didn't touch on teddy bear coats in my autumn trends series, simply because in Mumbai we genuinely have no need for such warm coats. However, should you live (or be travelling to) colder climes this winter, a faux fur, snuggly coat is a must-have! Mine was bought at the end of 2016 from Forever 21 and is still going strong. If I do travel this year, it'll be in my suitcase once again. (Also, please ignore the sorry state of this pic. It was taken in a closet, and the lighting makes me look like I've come down with a bad case of chickenpox!)

A quick touch on the animal print trend with my trusty Zara shorts. They fit so well, look so good, and are just the thing for Mumbai's weather. I believe - considering the amount of time I've worn them - that my cost per wear has reached the paise amount! They work in all seasons and all weathers. And I love them!

I want to talk about my cropped sweaters and hoodies, but I have about seven or eight. I think they'll work best in another blog post.

Till next time,

MumbaiGirl.
